Who we are
LoLo So Real operates the Midlife So Real brand and sells digital creative products through Etsy, Payhip, Gumroad, Amazon/KDP, and other clearly identified sales channels. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to midlifesoreal@gmail.com.
Scope
This policy explains how LoLo So Real handles personal information received in connection with purchases, downloads, customer support, messages, refunds, disputes, and optional marketing sign-ups. Each marketplace, payment processor, and delivery service also processes information under its own privacy policy and security practices.
Information we may receive
- Contact information: your name, email address, and other contact details you provide at checkout or in a message.
- Order information: the product purchased, order date, transaction identifier, payment status, refund status, and delivery or account details supplied by the selling platform.
- Support information: messages, troubleshooting details, and files or screenshots you choose to send when requesting help.
- Optional marketing information: your email address and preferences only when you separately choose to subscribe or otherwise consent.
LoLo So Real does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card number. Payments are handled by the selling platform, payment processor, or both.
How we use information
We use information to deliver purchases; provide receipts, downloads, replacements, and support; prevent fraud; respond to disputes or chargebacks; maintain tax, accounting, and business records; comply with legal obligations; protect our rights; and improve products and customer experience.
We use information for marketing only when we have the required consent. A purchase does not automatically subscribe a customer to a marketing list.
Legal bases where applicable
Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate business interests such as support and fraud prevention, or consent for optional marketing.
How information may be shared
We may share only the information reasonably needed with Etsy, Payhip, Gumroad, Amazon/KDP, payment processors, file-delivery and email services, cloud storage providers, bookkeeping or professional advisers, and other providers that help operate the business. We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a legitimate business transfer.
LoLo So Real does not sell or rent customer personal information.
Data retention
We retain order and transaction records only as long as reasonably necessary for delivery, support, bookkeeping, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Records needed for tax or accounting purposes may generally be kept for five to seven years, or for another period required by law. Marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. Information may then be deleted or anonymized when appropriate.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent, and to opt out of marketing. Email midlifesoreal@gmail.com with the subject Privacy Request. We may need to verify your identity. Requests about information controlled by a marketplace or payment processor may also need to be sent directly to that provider.
Security and children
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate for a small online business, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Midlife So Real products are intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
International processing and changes
Information may be processed in the United States or other locations used by our platforms and service providers. We may update this policy when our practices, products, platforms, or legal obligations change. The current revision date will appear at the top.

Terms of Use & Personal-Use License

Acceptance
By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using a LoLo So Real or Midlife So Real digital product, you agree to these Terms of Use and the applicable Digital Download & Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not purchase, download, or use the product.
Digital product
Purchases made through Etsy, Payhip, and Gumroad are digital downloads unless the product listing clearly states otherwise. No physical product will be shipped. A separately sold Amazon/KDP paperback is a different product and purchase.
Personal-use license
Your purchase gives one purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the files for personal, noncommercial use. You may save the files on your own devices and print pages as often as you like for your own personal use.
You may share photos or scans of pages that you personally colored on your personal social-media accounts. Credit or tagging LoLo So Real / Midlife So Real is appreciated. Do not post or share clean, uncolored, high-resolution pages or the complete files.
Prohibited uses
- Sharing, emailing, uploading, distributing, sublicensing, reselling, renting, giving away, or otherwise providing the original files or uncolored pages to another person.
- Using the files or illustrations for commercial products, print-on-demand goods, client work, classes, groups, courses, memberships, giveaways, resale bundles, clip art, templates, or other products without written permission or a separate license.
- Removing copyright notices, claiming the work as your own, extracting or republishing individual illustrations, or using the files to train or supply an artificial-intelligence model.
Group, classroom, and professional use
The standard purchase does not include duplication for therapy groups, coaching groups, classrooms, events, organizations, or businesses. Contact midlifesoreal@gmail.com before purchase to ask about an appropriate group-use license.
Ownership
The purchase transfers a license, not ownership. LoLo So Real retains rights in the protectable text, editing, selection, arrangement, compilation, branding, layout, and other original elements of the product to the extent allowed by law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Files, devices, and printing
Product descriptions identify the file type, page size, and included files. The buyer is responsible for using a compatible device, browser, PDF reader, printer, paper, and ink. Printed color, scale, margins, and line appearance can vary by screen, printer, paper, and settings.
Health and wellness disclaimer
Midlife So Real products are for entertainment, creative expression, reflection, and relaxation. They do not provide medical, mental-health, legal, therapeutic, or other professional advice and are not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, medication guidance, emergency help, or care from a qualified professional. No specific health or therapeutic result is promised.
No guarantees
We work to describe and deliver products accurately, but we do not guarantee that a product will meet every personal preference, work with every device or printer, or produce a particular emotional, creative, or health outcome.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LoLo So Real will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of a digital product. Any direct liability will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
License termination
The personal-use license ends automatically if these terms are violated. When the license ends, the buyer must stop using and distributing the files and delete unauthorized copies. LoLo So Real may still pursue available remedies for infringement or misuse.
Platform terms and changes
Purchases are also subject to the terms and processes of the selling platform. The terms shown at the time of purchase apply to that purchase, subject to rights that cannot be waived. Updated terms may apply to future purchases.

Digital Download & Refund Policy

Digital sales are generally final
Because digital products are delivered or made accessible immediately, purchases are generally final once digital access or downloading begins, except when a refund is required by applicable law.
When we will help
Please contact midlifesoreal@gmail.com as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within seven days of purchase, if you were charged twice, did not receive access, received a corrupt or incomplete file, or believe the product is materially different from its listing description. Include the order number, purchase email, selling platform, and a brief description or screenshot of the problem.
We will normally try redelivery, replacement, or troubleshooting first. If the file cannot be provided as described, we may offer a refund or another appropriate remedy.
What generally does not qualify
A change of mind, lack of time, accidental purchase, failure to read the listing, preference for a different style, or dissatisfaction with personal printer, ink, paper, device, browser, software, scale, margins, or color settings generally does not qualify for a refund when the files were delivered as described.
Platform processes
Etsy, Payhip, Gumroad, Amazon, payment processors, and applicable law may provide separate refund, dispute, or chargeback processes. For Gumroad website purchases, the creator's product-level refund policy applies; purchases made through a mobile app may be handled by the app store. If a payment was unauthorized, contact the selling platform or payment provider promptly.
Non-waivable rights
Nothing in this policy removes consumer rights, cooling-off rights, refund rights, or remedies that cannot legally be waived in the buyer's location.

What this means
Generative AI tools were part of the production process. The finished product also reflects LoLo So Real's human direction, selection, editing, corrections, arrangement, sequencing, branding, and final design decisions.
Where this disclosure applies
This disclosure may be used on Etsy, Payhip, Gumroad, other product pages, and customer-facing product information. Amazon/KDP uses its own private AI-generated-content questionnaire during book setup.
